Strategic planning based on foresight

The aim of these projects is to identify courses of action and priorities for technology policy in a given region, through the analysis of the evolutionary trends identified in foresight projects. This analysis is carried out by sectoral panels, comprised by experts representative of the active agents from region in question.

Within Spain, the development of strategic planning activities has been carried out in the following autonomous regions: Navarre, Madrid, Murcia, Extremadura, La Rioja, the Canary Isles, Catalonia and Valencia. Outside our frontiers, OPTI has applied these activities in the state of Paraná (Brazil).
